ASSIGNMENT 02 - GLOSSARY

Make a list of 10 words you learnt or are important in the text. Each word will be used according to the following procedures:

* The word as the grammar component (verb/adjective/preposition/etc.)
* Meaning used in the text.
* The word in a sentence from the book. Make sure the sentence is in quotation marks.
* Your own example with the word chosen.

Example:

Word # 1: Mild
Grammar component: Adjective
Meaning in the text: not strong

Example (book): “ now we will make the lesson clearer with a mild
electric shock”
My example: The is no “mild” electric shock. A shock is always a shock.

Choose a book to read. You can find it in the library.
Write a paragraph by answering the following questions. Do not copy the questions on your report. If you decide to type it, use font 14 and space 1.5 between the lines. If you handwrite it, skip every other line.

What did you read?
Who wrote it?
Who published it?
How many pages does it have?
Where and when was it printed?
Why did you choose it?
